The elections a couple of weeks ago may be over, but the voting is still on.
My little blog is nominated for an award over at The Homeschool Post. I didn’t even know it until a friend mentioned it to me at the meeting last night.
I’m going to confess to y’all that I’ve been pretty unproductive this week.
My activity for the past few days has amounted to sleeping and eating lettuce.

With James gone for a week I have great plans.
I’m going to get a whole bunch of things done around here. Or sit and watch TV while the kids eat corn dogs. You can never be sure which way it will go.

I got so many comments and emails this morning asking to see my new haircut that I couldn’t ignore it.
I got home today with a new haircut and was ready for the compliments. “Mommy! I love your hair!” “Your hair is so cute!” “My darling, beautiful wife, your hair has just made what was already beautiful even more heavenly.” I walked around the house for about an hour and no one…not one, single soul…noticed….
I get a lot of emails with questions, which is great, but I have a hard time getting back to everyone.

This morning as I rub the sleepy from my eyes and try to wake up for school lessons and errands and housework, I remember that little voice calling me in the night. “Mommy! Mommy!”….as I rush into his room to rescue him from those dreams.
