I am back at Becky’s today answering more questions. Last week I answered about how we manage homeschool and housework with a bunch of kids. Today I am answering some follow up questions from her readers.

Remember the old Goofus and Gallant cartoon from Highlight magazines? Here’s my homeschool version.
After two weeks of traveling I am home and planted firmly in my recliner. I plan to sit here until next Thursday. Then I will get up for a shower and sit back down.
James and I had a sort of vacation this weekend. We left home all day Friday and Saturday to work at the THSC booth at a homeschool conference. It was like a mini honeymoon, without the romance or beach umbrellas.
Friday night’s THSC gala was lovely. But I am too old for these late nights. Driving five hours, going to bed after 1:00 AM, it’s not my scene anymore.
But we did enjoy the night.
It’s time, once again, for the Texas Homeschool Coalition gala. I have been forced to scour the big city to find something formal to wear. Really?

This past weekend was a whirlwind of activities. James and I went to the Texas Homeschool Coalition Leadership Training Conference. Uh-huh.
The next two weeks are the last of a long line of busy weeks.
Between our monthly Mom’s Meeting and a trip to Dallas, I’m swamped.
Three of the boys and I have been doing a study of bats for the past month. This, coincidentally, happened at the same time that some of my friends (we’ll call them that for now) decided to take a group to the Old Tunnel Wildlife Management Area
I’m hooking up to a link party about large familes over at Life in a Shoe.
We live in the Texas Hill Country in an 85+ year old farmhouse that we have slowly redone.
