Learning to Teach
The next two weeks are the last of a long line of busy weeks.
Between our monthly Mom’s Meeting and a trip to Dallas, I’m swamped.
The next two weeks are the last of a long line of busy weeks.
Between our monthly Mom’s Meeting and a trip to Dallas, I’m swamped.
I am off for a weekend of quiet and reflection. A friend invited me to join her on a retreat weekend to a place called “The Quiet House.” By the name, it sounds pretty much exactly like my house every day.
If you’re like me, you drive past houses and wonder what they’re like inside. Or you meet a new friend and think, “I can’t wait to see her house!”
I got a call early this morning that my dad was rushed to the ER in Mississippi.
I left the house at 4:30 AM to make a flight,
Wow! What an unbelievable wedding!
God honoring, Christ centered, worshipful….a dream come true for Tara and Stephen.
I’m a detail person. I organize. It sounds good on the surface, but living with me is not always easy.
Next weekend is the wedding I’ve been telling you about.
You all know I am a teeny, tiny bit OCD. In order to sleep I need quiet, dark, cold and….don;t judge me….a nice smell.
Staying a hotel is difficult for me.
I hope you don’t mind indulging me with one more gala picture.
I just had to show you the whole group.
We loaded up at Canton. I got some old shutters for the porch, some glass domes, place card holders, and more.
The van was full, but we had to stop at IKEA
At last I have pictures from the gala.
You all know I do NOT like being photographed. I’m not photogenic at all….but I know it’s something I need to get over.
