The Kids’ Rooms
Our house is a maze of little rooms. Up ladders, add-ons, around corners are little, bitty rooms where the children sleep and keep their vast amounts of “important” things.

The living room redo has been great. Getting rid of clutter made it easier to keep clean, more comfortable and updated.
But there was one, looming problem.
My bedroom is my oasis. It is a relaxing place where I go when I need a moment (or 10) to myself. Last fall I did a four day marathon of redoing it.
…that is the question.
Yes, I know Shakespeare. This is a fully educational blog.
In addition to teaching you great literature, I really want to give you something
If you’re like me, you drive past houses and wonder what they’re like inside. Or you meet a new friend and think, “I can’t wait to see her house!”
We did it! The first phase of the deck is done.
I didn’t think we could finish with James gone and so much happening this week. But the kids and I got out there and knocked it out.
I took a few days off of the deck project to come into the air-conditioning and cool off.
I had planned a luncheon for the officer moms in our homeschool group.
I don’t usually do garage sales. I rarely find them to be worth my time. But a sweet friend of mine was having one this past Saturday, so I decided to pop by and say hello.
Why, oh why, did I ask to build a deck around the pool this week?
Besides James being exhausted from his finals and me being exhausted from dealing with my dad’s hospitalization…..it’s HOT!!!!
We are this week’s winner in the Before & After contest. I’m so excited!
After a hard week with my dad, this was such a boost. Thank you to the One Project Closer
