It’s hot people. I’m sorry to bemoan that fact since many of you are sweltering while reading this. But it’s pretty much all I can think about. We’ve been working out in the yard for the past three days and my stomach is feeling the heat.
For the past few years I used shells and did a beach thing, but I was tired of it. So I did what I usually do, I obsessed over it for a while then I got an idea and obsessed even more.
I can’t wait to tell you what’s been in the plans.
It’s been like a beehive around here lately. People in and out, kids begging to swim, end of the year homeschool group stuff, food, birthdays, laundry….one can never forget laundry.
I have to show you this next picture, because it makes me so happy. But I want to be clear…..this is NOT for sale.
OK, I need your opinions. I know how much you all like telling me what to do….so go for it!
What do you think of my silver dresser?
Friday night’s THSC gala was lovely. But I am too old for these late nights. Driving five hours, going to bed after 1:00 AM, it’s not my scene anymore.
But we did enjoy the night.
Being married to a CPA has its drawbacks. On one hand, I never have to do a thing with our money. He manages it all wonderfully. On the other hand, during tax season I never see him.
While I was at a resale shop I found a little chest of drawers and grabbed it up. Thirty bucks sucka!
