Dealing with Hurt Feelings
It’s been a day of hurt feelings and struggles with friends. I have learned so much about how to manage my hurt feelings. I hope you don’t mind if I share some of my thoughts with you.

James and I went to an anniversary party last night. Nine couples celebrated 25 years of marriage of our dear friends Steve and Julie.
I just couldn’t help telling you about it. I wish you all could have been there.
As a mom of 9 kids, one comment I get a lot is, “HOW do you do it?!”
It’s hard to answer. I know it seems crazy, but until I see a photo of my family, I don’t feel like it’s that much.
Isn’t Easter amazing?! I mean really….do we take enough time to reflect on what Christ did for us? I know I don’t!
Our family did something we’ve never done before on Easter. We went to a Baptist church. 🙂
I went for a walk with the boys…..they had a lot of energy we needed to work off. After the walk they still are too bouncy. I play a game where I stand and call out something in the yard (“Go to the……circle of rocks!” “Touch something……RED!”) and they have to run from the tree…
The bridal shower was wonderful! Here’s a shot of my girls and I (and Levi) sitting at our table. I think I told you there was a beach theme….well we had a bowl of fish for our centerpiece!
How Is It Possible?
That the tiny baby I gave birth to in my youth is turning 20 today?
Don’t ya hate it when your day is so full you can’t enjoy it?
My poor kids have been neglected, my closet is a mess and let’s not even talk about what I’ve been eating.
I am pretty sure that the time change is a government conspiracy against me.
It is an effort to keep me from getting anything done, keep me exhausted and sleepy, make sure I am zombie-like by 5:00 in the afternoon
