In Case You Ever Wondered What It Is Like to Be Around Me….
If you don’t know me in real life, you don’t know the real joy it is to be around me. So I thought I’d give you an inside look into some things that have happened in the past few days.

James and I had a sort of vacation this weekend. We left home all day Friday and Saturday to work at the THSC booth at a homeschool conference. It was like a mini honeymoon, without the romance or beach umbrellas.
I was outside watering the plants and thinking about how much better they grow when they are watered by rain, God’s watering system. There is something in the rain that gives them energy and nourishes them that water from the hose simply can not do.
It’s been a week of change. James and I stepped down from being President of our local homeschool group, Adam got his palatal expander off, we made the decision to get rid of our goats and the biggest news of all…I dyed my hair.
I should be giving you a recap of my royal wedding filled weekend. You would love to hear about the gorgeous tea I attended with ten of my sweet friends.
The word for today is: FULL
It was an afternoon of driving Jacob to the big city for another CLEP test. While he tested, I planned to run a bunch of errands.
I really hate to tell you what’s been going on here. It’s horrible, the worst, my least favorite part of life and marriage and being American.
We’ve been having (cue dreadful music) the money talk.
This is a big day for us. Tax season is officially over at 6:00 this afternoon. In just a few hours I will have my husband back. Of course, he’ll be a zombie for a week or so.
A letter to young men…..
It’s time, once again, for the Texas Homeschool Coalition gala. I have been forced to scour the big city to find something formal to wear. Really?
