I read in a book recently that you should never rest during the day. The author said that you rest on the Sabbath, sleep at night but otherwise the days were meant for work. If this is true then I am in big trouble, big trouble indeed.
Am I the only person that wonders where the weekend went? Gone, just gone and now it’s Monday and I have too much to do.
I really shouldn’t be let out of my cage. With James out of town, who will bail me out when I get into trouble? Who can I call to ask if we have enough money for me to buy things at The Container Store?
It seems the weekend went by before I realized what was happening. James and Jacob left yesterday to take Jacob to his first week of big boy school.
I can’t get over how quickly things can change. One day you’re driving all over the country….footloose and fancy free…..helping people make over rooms in their house. The next day you’re an invalid with two useless arms.
Hello from the hottest part of the living earth. We can’t use the oven, we can’t turn on lights, we can’t stop whining. Maybe that last one is just me.
I can’t believe I am leaving home again so soon. But I wouldn’t miss this conference for anything. It gets me motivated to get back into school and I always need it by this time of year.
I can’t believe it. I am home from my weekend at Gina’s cottage, fully unpacked and thoroughly hugged. I’m tired and my cankles are hurting, but otherwise none the worse for wear.
Y’all know I am always in some kind of pickle. Like the time my skirt fell off in the Bed Bath & Beyond parking lot. It’s a God-given talent. This time I was in Target.
Has the weekend passed by already? We were so busy I barely noticed. Plus, my stomach has been doing weird things ever since I ate a gluttonous amount of beef and chicken at the Brazillian steakhouse on Friday night.
