  1. We started having a fancy home-made dinner with a foofy dessert last year…sort of doing that again this year, with decorations and handmade Valentines for the family. LOVE!!

  2. We like to celebrate as a family. We each decorate a lunch bag (6 kids, 18-6, plus mom and dad) with lace, hearts, glitter and other fun scraps from my sewing supplies, and then fill them with homemade valentines and coupons for little acts of service and special outings. We’ll open them at dinnertime. Then, there’s the food. Strawberries frozen from last year’s pickings! Happy Valentine’s day!

  3. What an awesome selection of books. If I don’t win, I’ll have to buy a couple.

Do you do anything special for Valentine’s Day?
I always try to wear red or pink and accessorize with hearts as well as Exchange cards and extra hugs!

  4. I do child care in my home and also have 10 grandchildren so these would be well used and loved! Thanks for the giveaway and I hope that you and your family have a very Happy Valentine’s Day filled with lots of love 🙂

  5. Would love these for my grandbabies I watch everyday! Always looking for something to inspire them with! Thank you for the opportunity.

  6. I would love to give these sweet books to my grandson! We usually have a fun family Valentine breakfast where we give little gifts and treats to each other. This morning my daughter set a beautiful table and took the time to shape the sausage patties in to heart shapes. She even cut the strawberries that were served on the pancakes in to heart shapes. We love because God first loved us— John 3:16. Have a special day!

  7. This year my husband and I put hearts all over the doors of our children’s rooms. On the hearts we wrote things we observed about their personalities.

  8. I had little gifts waiting for the kids on the breakfast table and I will make spaghetti for dinner (because it’s red!) but my CPA hubby will be working late, so no dinner out. That’s ok though. Our boys were super excited and had parties at school yesterday so our day is off to a great start!

  9. Happy Valentines Day! I would love to add these to our bedtime books. Thanks for writing, keep on and I will keep reading!!!

  10. What an awesome selection of books!! Thank you for the giveaway opportunity! Have a great Valentines Day! We celebrate all that we are Blessed to have share in our lives!!
Blessings to you all for such a great site and resource,
    ~Theresa

  11. We love to make something for the kids in our children’s classes and make wonderful memories as a family getting the treats ready. It is also fun to give them “all red” in their lunchboxes – red Doritos bag, red box of raisins, little red tomatoes, red Kool-aid pkg. etc… as well as a special treat from Dad and Mom! Thanks for a great giveaway!

  12. I do little gifts…this year was small decorative (lovey dovey) pails filled with treats and a sparkly headband for the girls’. DH got a pail too as well as a card, a dancing/singing lion, and a valentine message in a bottle.

  13. I spent the afternoon with my daughter’s kindergarten class helping with their Valentine’s Day party. So much fun!!!

  14. We’ve been married for almost 21 years and my husband has just in the last 2 years done something. I kind of felt since he wasn’t going to do anything, neither was I. I know, stinkin thinkin. Last year he was listening to Mike & Mike(sports talk radio) on the radio and basically they said to the listeners if they hadn’t done anything for their significant others, then they should be ashamed. LOL The hubby finally got the message and sent me some flowers last year. :=) This year he sent me some beautiful flowers and chocolate. I bought him some flowers(he appreciates a pretty flower), a big box of chocolates, and a card. I bought the kids a ton of candy, made a “red” lunch for my 2 homeschoolers, and made a steak dinner, complete with cup cakes, for the whole family. It was fun putting all of it together.

  15. These look great!! I hope I win :)! On Valentines we always have fun things on the table when the kids wake up and we eat heart shaped food all day!!
