Merry Christmas Video

I wrapped the last few gifts yesterday.  Gift wrapping always takes me back to 10th grade.  I worked at a pharmacy (anyone remember the days when pharmacies were elegant, not like Walgreens or CVS?).  In the winter I would work extra hours doing gift wrapping.  I needed cash to support my Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup habit.

It was this job that gave me my first glimpse into my future OCD tendencies.  I was good, very good, at the perfect fold and crease.  Customers would come from miles around to have me wrap for them.  Or maybe it was that the wrapping was free and the other girl that worked there was a sloppy wrapper.

Subject change:

Don’t you ever wonder what the ladies are really like when you read their blogs?  I do!  I wonder what they look like and what they sound like.  That’s why I made this little video for you to say Merry Christmas.  It is a true gift of love since I despise seeing myself on video.  That shows you how much I love you, right?

Merry Christmas…..you are loved!

I am not crafty but I really want to be. I will live through you cause you are amazing! Please don’t hate me, but what is a cricut? Maybe you could do a post showing us what to do with it.

  12. LISA!! You need medication…and that means something coming from me. That is the most gorgeous yet insanely detailed wrapping! I’d cry when I had to throw it away.

  13. YOU are aDoRaBle!
    Thank you for the wishes!
I just know you had a wonderful Christmas with your family!
WHAT is hilarious is (this is TRUE), we didn’t use ribbon on our presents this year either!
I said, what the heck, who cares?
The presents were easier to stack, too!
I think Imma hafta do a vlog, now, too.
But I won’t show my head.
    ;P
Merry merry AND Happy New Year!
    Love,
    ~me

  14. Merry Christmas to you too sweetheart!!! You look stunning on your video and it was so nice to hear your voice and see a bit of your family traditions. I drink coffee over tea too! I think we should make it a point to share a cup next year. Merry Christmas to you & yours and a Blessed Happy New Year.

  15. Now you REALLY look like Ina. Never really saw it before, but now you’re the BFC all the way.

Hope it was fab – looking forward to partying together SOON! Woo Hoo!

  16. That was fun. I am not that brave! I am so behind on even pictures on my blog! I don’t know how I found your blog, but I enjoy it! My little secret about ribbon. We buy wired ribbon after Christmas when it is 90% off (I actually haven’t bought any in the past 2 years) and we use it every year. We pull it off and then put it back in a box and use it again. We have plaid and gold, red, green…various colors. It always manages to match something. Wrapping paper is bought 90% off too (Target keeps loads in the back and by the time 90% comes around there is plenty. Haven’t bought any of it for the past 2 years either. I am stocked! Whohoo! I love the names on your gifts. One day I need to invest in one of those fun tools! Thanks for sharing.
