Embracing Modesty, No 16
We are bouncing back to Mom this week. I often get asked about my clothing by strangers. People will stop ma and ask anything from am I Amish (that one always cracks me up) to where do I buy my skirts.

Since I’m gone this week I’m going to show you a few of the cute outfits my girls have been wearing. They always look so cute and they really do embrace the boundaries we set.
We are having fun taking pictures of what we are wearing each day and showing it to you. It’s become our morning ritual….get dressed, take pictures, eat breakfast, enjoy the rest of the day, repeat.
One of the problems with being a stay at home mom is the lack of interest in getting dressed. As hard as it is sometimes, I make myself get dressed and somewhat put together even though I’m not going out or seeing anyone but my family.
Thanks so much for all of the support and encouragement you all have given us through this series! We just thought it would be fun to photograph ourselves since we dress up every day and it’s turned into a party.
One of the great things about having so many girls in the house is the wealth of creativity we are surrounded by. Five girls and we all have individual style and shapes.
Since we’ve been painting all week we haven’t been fixing ourselves up like we usually do. It’s been paint clothes and messy hair. I didn’t even draw my eyebrows on most days. I am sure my family will be glad to see my better look again next week.
Thanks a million to all of you that have responded to our modesty series! The girls and I have been blown away by the response.
This week it’s back to Mom. I am always on the lookout for ways to flatter my Dr. Seuss-like figure. If I’m not careful I can look like I should be new blue goo chewing.
We are so thrilled to have been getting comments and emails from so many of you that let us know the outfits we’re wearing are encouraging your girls. That blesses us so much!
