I am loving co-hosting link parties! I get to party with my friends but I don’t have to clean the house or make snacks. Our Valentine’s Day party was awesome with over 650 links!
Since we’ve been painting all week we haven’t been fixing ourselves up like we usually do. It’s been paint clothes and messy hair. I didn’t even draw my eyebrows on most days. I am sure my family will be glad to see my better look again next week.
Oh boy, there are so many giveaways going on out in blogland that I’m thrilled to be joining a few friends to help us all find each other.
I always have such high hopes for getting things done over the weekend. I actually had a chart….a CHART…for what we would do on Saturday and Sunday with each person’s name in different colors.

It was an active weekend here at the Point. On Saturday I took the girls out for a mom/daughter shopping day. All of them needed something from shoes to under garments and we all needed to spend some time together.
This week it’s back to Mom. I am always on the lookout for ways to flatter my Dr. Seuss-like figure. If I’m not careful I can look like I should be new blue goo chewing.
It is a common problem. Mom gets on the phone, the kids realize she’s not paying full attention to them so they act in ways they would never act otherwise.
