I just realized I never showed y’all my secret project from a few weeks ago when James was out of town. So sorry….things move along at a swift speed here at the Point!
I am thoroughly confused about what day it is since it feels like a cool Monday in October. Between the holiday weekend making Tuesday into Monday and the temps in the low 90’s I am a mess.
Good Monday morning to you! I am excited to be visiting Maggie today over at Midwestern {Sewing} Girl. She was competing with me in the One Month To Win It contest a couple of months ago and we got to be fast friends.
I’m having a lazy Sunday mornin’ here at the Point. We’ve had a bit of company this weekend and more today so I can’t really get any projects started. It’s just nice to sit and relax for a few minutes though….and remind myself that life doesn’t always have to go at full speed.
I know I am a loud mouth about training children. I believe firmly that children should obey their parents, keep their rooms clean, do chores and contribute to the family. I have taught my children these things and they have perfected it….perfected it to the point of being annoying.
When the kids were really little James saw that I needed a regular break, one that I could count on. So he gave me a night off. Every Thursday as far back as I can remember has been “Mom’s Night Off.”
Besides taking day trips in 109° temperatures, I’ve been cranking out new things for the etsy shop….
Golly bob I never know what day it is anymore. All day Wednesday and Thursday I thought it was Friday and now that it is Friday I can’t seem to get a grip on it. I’ve come to the conclusion that I can’t do it all, so I have to let some things go.
Have you ever played the video game Tetris? The game where there are seven different sized blocks falling, and you have to maneuver them so that they fit together, perfectly, and when you have a solid line it disappears?
