The elections a couple of weeks ago may be over, but the voting is still on.

My little blog is nominated for an award over at The Homeschool Post. I didn’t even know it until a friend mentioned it to me at the meeting last night.

My researcher staff is falling down on the job.  Someone WILL be fired!

I was nominated for “Best Crafts, Plans and Projects Blog”.  This is so funny to me since I don’t think of myself and a crafts or plans kind of gal.  Projects, yes.  Crafts, no.

Even if you don’t go vote for me, you may enjoy seeing some of the other blogs.  I’ve been looking through them and discovering some new ones that I will have to follow.  I haven’t clicked “Follow” on any of them just yet because I already have 97 blogs in my reader.  I am beginning to think I have an addiction.  I may need therapy.

You all have been so sweet lately in your comments and I cannot WAIT to be able to sit down and go through them.  You all should get an award for “Best Blog Friends”.  I think I’ll start my own awards and you all will win.

But since I am now a top crafts and plans blog….I may craft you a banner and hang it out on the front porch.

You all have sent me so many fabulous questions lately and I am dying to answer them.  Dy-ing!  I have important thoughts on your couch colors, scheduling and my middle name.  OK, I’ll go ahead and answer that one.  It’s Faye.  Some of you suggested I start adding my middle name since there are so many other Lisas.  But I just can’t bring myself to do that.  It flashes me back to my childhood….

OK, what was this post about?  I have completely lost track.  James doesn’t call me “Queen of the Rabbit Trails” for nothing.  Hey!  It’s another title.  Best crafts Blog AND Queen of the Rabbit Trails.  Boy, I need a crown or something.

  2. I voted for you….I have never even seen any of the other blogs…even though I am a homeschooler and a homeschool leader, I don’t usually read blogs that are about homeschooling. Does this make any sense at all?

    Better Lisa Faye than Lisa Marguerite…believe me NO ONE in Missississippi knew how to spell it much less say it. Margaret? I couldn’t even spell it until about 11th grade. Anyway, everyone just assumes when your middle name starts with an “M” it’s Lisa Marie.

  6. Dear Mrs. ‘Crafts, Plans and Projects’ Lady with the Darling Hair,

    I am obsessed (I know you will understand my use of that word 🙂 ) with the idea that I must have 28 matching cloth napkins for my soon-to-be beautiful Thanksgiving table. How can I do this with very little expense, maybe no sewing, and as few tears as possible?
