Versatile Blogger Award

I enjoy reading blogs.  I get so much inspiration from them.  We should all gather….in real life.  I’d love to pick some of your brains and pray together and laugh our heads off.  One such blog is A Dream House for Trish.  Trish is a hairdresser and personal trainer and she lives in Australia, so we’re pretty much exactly the same.  LOL!  Oh I do crack myself up.  (still giggling)

Oh well, it’s our differences that make the world so exciting.  Me, I’m more of a “never know what to do with my hair”, American couch potato.

Apparently Trish forgives my weirdness because she sent me a blog award.  She says I am a “Versatile blogger.”  I’m not so sure how versatile I am since all I want is to do is eat chocolate and watch HGTV,  but I’ll take the award.  Thanks Trish!

To receive this honor, I am supposed to tell you seven things about myself.  It is hard to think af seven things that you all will find new and interesting since I tell you everything already.  So I’ve decided to tell you teeny details that only those closest to me would know…..

1)  I use cash only and I am slightly obsessed with giving exact change when paying for anything, big or small. I am sure it is incredibly annoying to the people in line behind me.

2)  I will only park on row 7 at Walmart (I told you I was weird).

3) I drive a white mini van and every time I push the button on the key that opens the door for me I feel like I am spoiled rotten.

4)  My OCD-ness causes me to be easily distracted by bits of trash.  My friends like to entertain themselves at Christmas parties by tossing pieces of wrapping on the floor and seeing how long it will take me to pick it up.

5)  I am pretty sure I need some new friends.

6) I eat a small bowl of Kashi cereal and an egg pretty much every day for breakfast.

7) I have to wear shoes with arch support or my feet hurt so badly I can barely walk for days.  So I pretty much only wear Clarks, Borns, and my new favorite….Naot (although I have no idea how to pronounce it).

Now I am supposed to tell you about 15 other blogs that I love and I think are versatile.  This is hard because I would have sent it to some of the same bloggers that Trish already listed.  As you will see, I have a large variety of styles and themes of blogs that I love.  Hey!  Maybe I AM versatile!

Thanks again Trish, for noticing my blog.  And thanks to all of you that read it and give me such nice comments.  They absolutely make my day!

  1. Thank you for the award! I have so enjoyed reading your blog and getting to know you. I like to give exact change, drive a white Suburban and only wear shoes when I have to…and your friends with the trash…that’s funny! Only on row 7? Really? Well, 7 is the number of perfection. Now I’ll think of you when I shop at Wally World and I just might park on row 7 in your honor.

  3. Hi Lisa, Congratulations on your award. I sent it your way because you are such an inspiration. Anyone that fits as much into their day as you do needs a medal. Don’t worry I do my fair share of couch potato time…especially since I discovered the blog world… & I love chocolate. By the way your piano looks sooooo cool, I bet the kids love it to, what a trendy transformation. Another fabulous job, you make me wanna paint something!!!
    Cheers!!
