Four Days Off!

I’m gearing up to be out of town for four days.

Four WHOLE days with no kids.  No husband.  No responsibilities.

Who will I be without a double stroller to push around and people to rush off to the potty?  Well, the second thing might still happen since some of my girlfriends are a bit, shall we say, incontinent.

Huh?  That’s me you say?  Oh yeah.

Anyway, I’ve got the formal gala to attend on Friday night.  If any of you Texans want to go, it’s a fundraiser for the Texas Homeschool Coalition.   Dust off your formal dress that’s been hanging in the back of your closet since 1987 and come on over!

Then Saturday and Sunday it’s off to the flea market.  Just the fresh air, 100 acres of shopping and three of my best gal pals….it’ll be a real treat.

Plus you KNOW we’re gonna get ourselves into some kind of trouble.  It always happens.

And if any of you decide to go to Canton too, send me an email so we can meet up for some tornado taters and lemonade.  I can check email from my phone and I would LOVE to meet you!  Plus I’ll need to see what fabulous things you bought in case I need to get any of it for myself.

    Formal, food, friends, flea market, more food…that’s the fun stuff in life! Enjoy!

  3. Oh, I think the thing I miss most about Texas is Canton. I was just trying to explain to a non-Texan about Canton…you just have to live it. So, on my bucket list is a weekend in Canton in my very own jumbo RV with a group of girls…shop, eat, drink, nap, use your very own restroom with nice toilet paper/without having to hold a curtain, shop some more, repeat X 3 days.
