To Subscribe or Not to Subscribe…

…that is the question.

Yes, I know Shakespeare.  This is a fully educational blog.

In addition to teaching you great literature, I really want to give you something. But I’m not just giving it to you….I am going to trade.  I will enter you in a fantabulous giveaway and in return you subscribe to this blog.  It is so, so easy.  All you have to do is click the pretty, little button at the top of this page.  It looks like this.

It will take you to a page that will ask you HOW you want to subscribe.  If you don’t already have a reader and you don’t want one, you can choose to have it sent to you in an email.  Personally I love my Google Reader and have it set as my homepage.  That way every time I open my browser it shows me the latest posts of the blogs I follow and I never have to go check them.  They come to me!

See?  That is SO easy and in return I will enter you in my giveaway.

And you want this prize…you really do!  This is my very favorite thing that I sell in my Etsy shop.

My Vintage Monogrammed Feedsack Pillow. A $98 value!

I know….makes you want to do a soliloquy doesn’t it?

This luscious pillow is made from vintage German feedsack material and is backed with silk velvet.  The little ruffle is a beautiful linen.  It is deliciousness at its best.

The top number is your home address and the bottom number is your wedding anniversary.  I know, sniff-sniff.

What light through yonder window breaks?

I get so many compliments on this pillow.   Really…it is one of my favorite things in my living room.

Of course, I am open to putting whatever words or numbers you want.   My customers always come up with the most clever and creative ideas!  You could put “Romeo” at the top and “Juliet” at the bottom.  Too much?  Sorry.

So here’s the deal….

Leave a comment letting me know that you became a follower.  If you are already a follower then be sure to tell me!  You’ll get an entry for sure.  This giveaway will be open until Thursday, August 26 at midnight.

Parting is such sweet sorrow.

  2. Glad those of us loyal fans are still allowed to enter. Makes me mad when people only let new people enter their giveaways… 🙂

The pillow is wonderful. Does it come with a way for the toddler to stop pulling it off the sofa and throwing it on the floor? Just wondering.

  11. Hi Fellow Lisa. It’s the funniest thing, you left a comment on my blog near Father’s Day and it didn’t show up until today (can’t figure that one out) so I came to check out your blog. We have a couple of things in common besides our name, we have large families, mine not quite as large as yours, as I only have 7 sons (no daughters), and I have a deep love for my Savior, Jesus Christ.

I so respect your openness about your beliefs. You seem like an amazing woman!!! And I’m excited to follow your blog!

    Lisa :0)

  30. I’m now a follower thanks to Perfectly Imperfect! Oh my goodness, this little preggo momma may be staying up all night to read all you archives! I love your blog!

  31. Hi Lisa, I happened upon you last night… and to my wonderful surprize it was like the Lord led me right to you (thank you Lord!!) anyway I was feeling sad because my daughter and son are growing up and I was missing the sweet moments of first day of school. I homeschooled them both and I was reminiscing of our days together. Maria is now a senior in college and Jared is a junior in private school because of his love for basketball and the opportunity to have more competition and exposure for college. I was missing making their special pancakes for the first day of school etc. Your blog somehow helped me to realize that the Lord has something new for me to do. I have been praying for a long time about a small in-home business using the gifts He gave me. My daughter called me last night and said,” Mom don’t be sad thinking about the things you are not able to do for us, think instead about all the beautiful memories we had together and how you trained and taught us to be strong individuals with strong convictions.and… then I found you, Lisa… I read about you homeschooling and yet still have time to have a business and decorate your sweet home..Maybe this is silly to you but to me I was so happy to find you…It helped me to see my life with new eyes..Thank you! I do not know if I am late in subcribing to win your beautiful pillow or if I have to have a blog first but I would like to attempt to win… I would like very much to continue reading your blog, and I think I will try to put together my own blog very soon( I just have to learn how to do it!) Thanks again, may the Lord bless your year with wonderful moments and exciting learning, may He bless your business and pour more creative ideas into you. Warmly, Dru p.s. everything in my little old cape cod home was found at garage sales, thrift, goodwill stores, given or on big trash day. Painted, slipped covered and made anew for our home by me. I am excited of what the Lord has new for me to do!!!!!

  32. Hi, I found you last night! I am a former homeschooling Mom and I loved your site… I would be delighted to win your beautiful pillow…

  33. I get your updates by email and I love them! I want to learn so many different ways to update my home on a budget and you seem to have the knack!!! I just love your bedroom redo!
