While we were there I was determined to still get my morning workout in, so I packed my clothes and on Thursday morning I popped up at 6:00 and headed down to find the hotel’s workout room.
I made a quick run to Dallas this past weekend. Sure it’s a 6 hour drive, but in Texas time that’s practically your next door neighbor. Just a simple country jaunt.
I realized that I have talked a lot about the Homeschool Moms’ Winter Summit but I haven’t told you why I love it so much.
I had planned to get some small projects done when I got home from all of my travels, but instead I mostly listened to my kids tell me stories they made up and ask me if I know where their toothpaste went.
I just got home from 5 days of adventure and sadness. It was a weird, but sweet weekend at the Allume conference.
Week 3 of the “Lisa is way too busy” season is behind me. We had our Winter Summit planning retreat here this weekend and it was fabulous! You don’t want to miss this event!
I took 3 of my daughters to the Women of Faith Convention on Friday and Saturday. It was supposed to be my older 3 girls and my mom going with me, but as God knows what He’s doing plans changed and it ended up being my 3 younger girls.
Sunday we had set aside for a family work day outside. The weather was fan-tabulous and we all enjoyed being out there. We pulled weeds and cleaned the pool and picked up rocks in the field.
On Friday we finished the bathroom makeover and what a relief to have the bathroom open for business again! Being on bathroom short for a week was cramping my style.
