As you may know, we homeschool our kids. Yep, all 9 of ’em. They have never been to any kind of traditional school and at this point 5 of them are homeschool graduates.
Rain! We finally got rain after months of dryness. There were cracks in our yard so big I was worried that one of the chickens might fall right in.
Because there was a genuine risk of us of getting overrun with all of my lip balm concoctions piling up in corners of my house, I decided to send them to my friends. Everyone loves a homemade gift, right?
From July 4-August 12 we will be hanging out together and getting uplifted. When you sign up for Mom’s Summer Camp….aka Camp Gimmeabreak…
It was pretty quiet around here. It was supposed to be busy, but things got cancelled and changed and it turned out to be kinda slow, which was so nice.
We are winding down a little bit with our school work. We will have some lessons all summer, but the pool beckons us and we have no choice but to go out there every morning after breakfast and play silly games and splash around.
Oh my stars the weather here has been amazing! I literally just go stand outside a few times a day and hold my arms out like the sun might actually give me a hug.
Lately I’ve been having 70s flashbacks. My mind just rushes to the days of The Sonny and Cher Show, Shaun Cassidy (swoon) and Love’s Baby Soft perfume.
I hate to be a drag, but ice skating is about the last thing I could have done this past weekend, even if I lived in Canada. Mostly because I can barely walk.
