Embracing Modesty, No 36
I’ve been out of the house a couple of days this week plus the weather is changing, so I’ve got some fresh things to show you this week.

I just have a couple of pictures for you this week. I’m trying to wear my white skirt as much as possible before the official start of fall.
This week I wanted to share what we wear when we exercise. I get questions about this a lot, so I thought I’d just answer it here and now.
It’s another hot summer week here in south Texas. We are trying to stay cool, but the temps have us sweating like pigs. (I have never understood that analogy….do pigs sweat profusely?)
We’ve been in our paint clothes most of the week, so not much fashion is happening here. Our paint clothes aren’t worth showing here except to say that we are still modest when we paint.
Since the girls and I dress up every day and we only wear skirts/dresses, I thought that would be something fun for us to share with you. I can’t believe y’all haven’t gotten sick of seeing what we are wearing.
This weekend I will be in California for the Diamonds in the Rough Retreat. While I pack, I try on my outfits so that I can be sure I have everything I need to wear.
Being plus-sized has its challenges. My friends that are average size tell me they have challenges too, but it’s hard to believe it’s the same intensity.
I went shopping a couple of times over the past few weeks and was reminded of how hard it is to be young and find modest things to wear. It’s all tight and revealing and short-shorts….not what we want to wear!
I have gotten hundreds of questions and I wish I could reply to them all personally, but since I can’t I thought I’d try to answer a few of them today.
