I still have so much to do to be ready for Christmas I have decided the best plan is to avoid thinking about it. If I start to think about it I get overwhelmed and wonder if it wouldn’t be better to just wait until next Christmas to celebrate….I need another year to get everything done!
Since I have to fill 10 stockings on a tight budget, I try to come up with some cheap or free items to fill them to the top. My kids don’t mind free gifts….they are grateful for anything. I just love that about them!

Finally, after a month we have the girls’ room finished!
Well, our week of making over the girls’ attic bedroom is in full operation.
We piddled around this past weekend. I had a list of 20 things that needed to be done and I got exactly 1.75 of them completed.
This week’s grocery run took a little extra time because I am, yet again, on a diet and I had to buy special food.
