Embracing Modesty, No. 33
It’s another hot summer week here in south Texas. We are trying to stay cool, but the temps have us sweating like pigs. (I have never understood that analogy….do pigs sweat profusely?)

I went shopping a couple of times over the past few weeks and was reminded of how hard it is to be young and find modest things to wear. It’s all tight and revealing and short-shorts….not what we want to wear!
We had a work filled weekend. The kind that makes you wish for Monday when all there is to do it some school work with the kids and dinner in the crockpot.
I love a good mix-n-match style! Dresses are nice, but skirts and tops make it easy to change it up and be spontaneous. I can easily tailor them to my mood, which is never predictable.
I meant to give a full report of my trip to Kansas yesterday, but then I slept the whole day and was all sluggish and lazy. If I had tried to write then it would have read like some alien language from a sci-fi novel.

This week we’re going to look at some of the silliness that goes on around here. My teens girls like to experiment with their clothing and as long as they stay within the boundaries we have set for being modest I say go for it!
Well friends, it’s starting to get hot and that means trying to find ways to be modest and still not die of a heat stroke. I am telling you I do not like to be hot.
This is it! The 2013 Swimsuit edition of Embracing Modesty. We are so excited to share this you!
