I’m loving all of the mantles popping up on Pinterest this week. There are so many pretty things that add that extra sparkle to Christmas.
We’ve been getting the house cleaned up and ready for the Christmas party here this weekend. I gave Noah the job of trying to fix the lights on the Christmas tree that we have on the front porch.
While I do love to shop, I really don’t enjoy it during the holiday season. I am not into the whole Santa, cheap gifts, low quality commercialism that Christmas has become.

Last night’s party was so much fun! We opened up our home, but the other ladies did all of the planning. What a relief, since I spent the entire day making cookies with my girls. What I skipped over during the Christmas holidays I made up for yesterday.
