Being a true American, I overate on Thanksgiving. I made some eating decisions before the big day arrived so I wouldn’t lose sight of the fact that I am on a diet and regret my choices.

I only have 2 pictures for you today because, frankly, I’m sleepy and want to go to bed. Thanksgiving wore me out and I can’t think of nothing but lying my head on my pillow and dreaming of a clean kitchen. And pie.
We are rounding the corner to Christmas around here! The tree is up, but not decorated. The porch pumpkins have been replaced by poinsettias. And the Christmas story books have made their way to the coffee table.
When the HomeRight people told me they were starting a new site called AutoRight with products for taking care of your car….I knew this was something my dad would love!
I felt like a change this year….not the same old holiday decor that I have been using for years. And since none of my old stuff has any real sentimental value, I decided to try some new things….just for fun!
OK, I am not adjusting well to this recent time change. I start falling asleep on my feet at 8:00 every night and can’t sleep past 5:00 in the morning. Is this what getting old looks like?
Merry Christmas from all of us here at the Point! And a very happy New Year.
I’ve been quiet in here lately. I have been spending time with my children and husband and breathing. Or trying to. It’s not been as easy as I had expected.
I still have so much to do to be ready for Christmas I have decided the best plan is to avoid thinking about it. If I start to think about it I get overwhelmed and wonder if it wouldn’t be better to just wait until next Christmas to celebrate….I need another year to get everything done!
Come link up your Christmas ideas/crafts using dollar store type items. Please don’t link to any kind of shop. Make sure to visit other party goers to join in on the fun!
