My Trip to Californy
I am right in the middle of my trip to California, home of the cement pond.
I am right in the middle of my trip to California, home of the cement pond.
Yesterday it was 112° and I was out running from store to store thinking about ice and trying keep my mind off how hot it was.
Every Monday morning I think, “I can’t believe another week has come!” I roll out of bed and start trying to force my brain to remember what it is that I have to do this week.
I love to update the blog on Monday mornings…but I spent yesterday driving 13 hours to a writer’s workshop near Kansas City.
It’s been a while since I updated you on all of the things going on in my brain and frankly the weight of thoughts gathering in there is beginning to affect me.
Wooo mamma have I been busy! Between Blog Chat coming up this weekend and James being really swamped with work and school, the kids with their own stuff going on…it’s like a crazy train around here.
We have been doing our weekly grocery shopping on Monday nights. Our oldest 2, Grace and Jacob, have a Bible study that night, so 2 of the other girls and I will do the shopping during the study hour.
Alright, I have crossed over to the dark side and created a Facebook fan page for The Pennington Point. I didn’t want to do it. It seemed silly.
I’m in a groggy stupor today…writing may not be the best idea. But I’ve never promised to be awake when I write, so it’s happening.
