Slow Days and Possums
We’re heading into a busy weekend with the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival. All day for three days. My older kids like to stay late and do every last session. Mamma wants to sleep.

This coming weekend is the annual San Antonio Christian Film Festival. Our family has attended every year since the beginning of time. We wouldn’t miss it. It’s one of the social highlights of our year! Oh, and great films too.
I’ve always liked Mondays. The weekends are nice, but with a houseful of kids it’s easier to be on a routine. Weekends are all “Mom, may I make a rocketship?” and “Mommy, do we have any AA batteries?!”
In case you didn’t know it….I love decorating for Valentine’s Day! Of course I had to fill the frame over my couch with some love themed decor.
Ever since I got home from the Summit last weekend I have been a vegetable in pajamas. So tired, so worn out. I just wanted to do school, take naps and ask what’s for dinner.
Even if some of these outfits are things you wouldn’t wear, I hope you’ll find some inspiration to create your own style and still be modest and comfortable.
I have another sweet little set of book to give away today! These are the most adorable, encouraging things. God’s Promises for Boys and God’s Promises for Girls.
It would not be possible for me to tell you all about my weekend.
Happy happy joy joy! It’s time for our Valentine’s Day link party to begin! Whoop for red, pink and white!
One of the interesting things about discussing modest clothing is how each person has their own idea of what that means. For one person it means being covered, but wearing pants while another only wears dresses. We are each on our own path and we must give each other room.
