Grace had requested for her birthday that all of the girls go out together and we did it in full force. I spent my entire life becoming an expert shopper and feel that it would be wrong not to pass the knowledge on to my 4 daughters.
I got an email recently from a mom who is struggling with her pre-teen (let’s call the daughter Susie). Susie gets really upset when she doesn’t get her way and it always ends with her shouting, “You are a MEAN mom!”
Thanks so much for all of the support and encouragement you all have given us through this series! We just thought it would be fun to photograph ourselves since we dress up every day and it’s turned into a party.
Happiness is giving something away! And I need some happiness so I’m going to give y’all something. I want to give you ALL a prize, but since I can’t figure out a way to do that then I’ll have to settle for a little piece of happiness for now.
We’ve been sprucing up the place for the past couple of weeks. Painting, dusting and furniture rearranging has everything feeling spiffy.
There’s nothing new but it still feels fresh.
