I hated walking out of my niece’s graduation ceremony during the commencement address, but I have to prefer protecting my children’s hearts over someone’s feelings
One thing I love about life in the country is the constant change. One day you’re a happy farmer with a cow grazing in the field. The next day you’re a crazy woman wading through mud in your good shoes chasing a cow down the street.
Recently we went out as a family and got a little more dressed up than usual. It’s always nice to see what the girls come out wearing. They are all so creative with their clothing.
I missed my post yesterday because James and I took a couple of days off together. We had some much needed Mommy & Daddy time. Just him, me and a mini van ready for an adventure.

There are so many things I haven’t caught you up on since April ended. That was a really crazy month for us with me doing so much traveling and James wrapping up tax season.
It’s been unusually cool here in Texas for this time of year. Normally we’ve pulled the summer clothes out of the back of the closet by now. But it’s still in the 70s so we haven’t started the hot weather dressing just yet.
I’ve been planning a few summer projects and looking around the house and yard to see what I can do with basically no money. I love a challenge and making my home nicer for free is one of my favorites!
