I got home yesterday afternoon from my three weeks of constantly being on the road. It’s all behind me now and the sun is shining and the pool is beckoning and last night my pillow was so glad to see my weary head.

I love a good mix-n-match style! Dresses are nice, but skirts and tops make it easy to change it up and be spontaneous. I can easily tailor them to my mood, which is never predictable.
Well, I’m between trips and that is my worst place to be. Resting and unpacking from last weekend blurs right into prepping and re-packing for next weekend.

Well friends, the heat is officially here. Yesterday it was over 100° and sweltering. And it’s only going to get hotter. So we are being careful how we dress. Being modest is important to us, but so is avoiding death.
I meant to give a full report of my trip to Kansas yesterday, but then I slept the whole day and was all sluggish and lazy. If I had tried to write then it would have read like some alien language from a sci-fi novel.
With 11 people living in my house you know we can give vacuum cleaners a workout. Most of our bedrooms and the hallway have carpet and mama likes a clean floor.
This week has been unique since I’m traveling with 3 of my daughters. They have been attending a writer’s workshop in Kansas City while I either hung around the workshop or spent quiet time in the hotel room.
