Week 3 of the “Lisa is way too busy” season is behind me. We had our Winter Summit planning retreat here this weekend and it was fabulous! You don’t want to miss this event!
I got out my denim jacket which I love for fall. Since I am not easily chilled, the short sleeves are perfect for me. The brown skirt and t-shirt are many years old. I was surprised they didn’t have moth holes in them.

In my Taco Soup recipe (which I made last weekend and will make again this coming weekend because I can’t live without it) I mentioned that we make our own taco seasoning and ranch dressing mix.
I took 3 of my daughters to the Women of Faith Convention on Friday and Saturday. It was supposed to be my older 3 girls and my mom going with me, but as God knows what He’s doing plans changed and it ended up being my 3 younger girls.
So many of you have let us know that your girls are reading this and being encouraged to look for fun, youthful ways to dress modestly. So I thought we’d show you some more of what my girls have been wearing lately.

On Saturday morning I was off for the day with my 17 year old daughter Faith to see what goodness we could find at Round Top. We always have a fun time together and laughed pretty much the whole way.
These cooler mornings are challenging me to find things to wear that are cool enough for the morning and warm enough for the afternoon. So I’m embracing the vest. It say, “My body is warm but I’m OK with my arms being cold.”
