I have rarely looked forward to a normal day like I look forward to this one. We are finally coming out of our flu fog and school is back in swing this week. Hip hip hooray for simple problems like running out of eggs.
I’ll be sharing each week what is happening in our home and how we manage problems. We will open up and answer questions as we go along. It’s gonna be great!
I’ve been reflecting back on my blog posts and wanted to re-share my top posts from each month.
The past week is a bit of a blur. I’d like to say it’s because Christmas was so magical that I can’t describe the joy. But instead I must report a terrible bout of flu that has hit all 11 of us, starting on December 23 and still with us.
I can’t believe it’s been a whole year since I started this series. I intended to simply share what we wore each week, but it turned into so much more than that.
It’s only 2 more days before Christmas and our family is closing the doors and celebrating with just us. We will have more of a family party on Christmas Eve with lots of appetizers and games.
This week I have been doing a lot of running around. I have a limited wardrobe right now, but that’s OK….I love to mix and match. I really buy things with that in mind since I like to play with my clothes.
I have gotten several questions about how we celebrate Christmas. It’s pretty simple around here. Just the 11 of us on Christmas morning (some years my parents join us).
On Friday I locked my bedroom door and pulled all I had out of my closet. I sorted through it, much like Santa does but without the elves to carry everything for me.
Last week I showed y’all my cute kitchen shutters and sign I made for Christmas when I told you how much I love Blinds.com. So now I want to share how we made the sign. You won’t believe how easy it was!
