Yesterday I popped into the courthouse to get my license plate renewal. I had my 5 youngest kids with me. As we entered the room I gestured toward a long bench and said, “You guys sit there while I take care of this.”
So my kids sat on the bench and waited.
Getting 10 people ready to go anywhere has always been a challenge for me.
We start with a “morning meeting”. I write everything on the school white board and we make a plan.
I sat on the living room floor putting the new bed frame together.
“I’ll help you Mommy!” says a little voice.
Eight years old and eager to use the tools.
