It’s been a while since I caught you up on what’s been going on around here. I’ve been home for almost a week now from my big trip to Utah for the Young Living International Grand Convention.
I made a promise to myself a couple of months ago to remove sugar from my diet. Well, I actually removed a LOT of things, but sugar is one that I determined not to add back in even when I was on vacation.
I am over the moon excited about my essential oil deal this month! I decided to do something extra special for the month of May to celebrate Mom all month long.
Yesterday I enjoyed an afternoon snack of almond butter on a slice of coconut bread. As I was nibbling on my creation I realized that some alien must have taken over my body.
Oh my stars the weather here has been amazing! I literally just go stand outside a few times a day and hold my arms out like the sun might actually give me a hug.

This past weekend at the Christian Worldview Film Festival I met some great people, mostly young and brilliant and out of my league. Those young adults who are so on their game and learning faster than I can type….yeah….those.
I decided to spend part of the day Saturday sitting outside feeling the delightful 70° breeze. Here in Texas we never know when the weather will change so I wanted to enjoy it while it was perfection.
