For those of you that are interested in making extra-large, paper covered, useless Legos….here you go.

I found these chairs at the flea market.
I absolutely couldn’t resist them. They were calling out to me. “LISA! You NEED us!”
Whoa! New flower pots are so expensive. I have pennies to spare these days. So I got some terra cotta pots and hoped I could jazz then up with stuff I had at home.
But who else will keep you entertained with weird, vintage TV?
You’ve seen my bedroom, Noah’s room, the front porch and bits of the school room. But I’ve never shown you my kitchen.
I love my kitchen. I redid it two years ago. And now, two years later, there’s nothing I would change. It is cheerful and lovely and functional. It’s just right for us.
Our dear friends are planning a wedding.
I feel privileged to be able to help with the wedding in a small way. I am helping with the hostess gifts. I know it’s just a little thing, but my goal was to lift her load, if only a tiny bit.
So I think I need to do a giveaway. That’ll get me going. Oh yeah! I love to give you things!
I’ve got an extra copy of the great new magazine, “Flea Market Style”. I bought it just for you!
Welcome to our new blog home. Isn’t it gorgeous?! I am so excited to show you around!
First I want to give a big round of applause to Karen and Lisa over at Simply Amusing Designs.
Now, let’s take a look around, shall we?
While I was building the Boy’s room, I threw together a screen for the school room.
The idea had been rolling around in my head for a couple of months. I’m not sure what sparked it. I just know I am trying to find that balance in the school room. I want to display the kids’ creations. But I also want it to look tidy and match the rest of the house.
It was two weeks ago today that we started the new room. But we only worked on the room 7 of those days. The rest of the time we lived normal lives. OK, normal may be a stretch. Before I show you the results, here’s a reminder of what the front porch looked like 2…
So many of you have been concerned about the pressure I am putting on myself to get the room finished.
I appreciate your concern.
I am going to give myself a break.
I listen to my advisors.
