Sunday we had set aside for a family work day outside. The weather was fan-tabulous and we all enjoyed being out there. We pulled weeds and cleaned the pool and picked up rocks in the field.

Since I’m at the Blog Elevated conference this weekend, I didn’t have time to take pictures of what I was wearing. So I grabbed my girls and said, “Hey, go outside and take pictures of what you have on right now!”
Reading to my kids is one of my favorite pastimes. I don’t care if it’s a novel that we read over a couple of weeks or a children’s book that we can read in a few minutes, we all look forward to reading time.
I surely enjoyed the slow pace of this past weekend since it’s the last free weekend I have until mid-November. I don’t know why, but every year it gets super busy at this time.
I’ve been out of the house a couple of days this week plus the weather is changing, so I’ve got some fresh things to show you this week.
A couple of weeks ago I showed you my updated boys’ bathroom. We worked on so many small details in there that I couldn’t give you the nitty gritty information.
We went to the Forge Conference where we knew not a soul. It was exciting to meet a whole new group of people that desire to live their lives for Christ.
I just have a couple of pictures for you this week. I’m trying to wear my white skirt as much as possible before the official start of fall.
The past couple of weeks of homeschool have been a lot to manage. For some reason it looks like this will be my toughest year yet
It didn’t start off being the easy weekend I had hoped. James was out of town last week so by Friday I was about ready to run to the hills and hide.
