If you’ve been following me for any length of time then you know that I started exercising about a year and a half ago. I go for a run every morning and have learned how easy it really is.
I have never owned a pair of cowboy boots before so this seemed like the perfect time for me to get my first pair. After I got them I wondered if I would really ever wear them.
Well, I finally turned in my first draft of my book. It’s been one of those, “Be careful what you wish for” kinds of things. It was rough!
I can’t believe how quickly October is flying past. While it will be remembered as one of the worst times in my life, it is also God’s mercy that I look back and realize that weeks have slipped by without my realizing.
Since sharing about our daughter leaving home I have been overwhelmed with phone calls, emails and messages of love and support. Thank you. Believe it or not, I did not expect that response at all.
In sharing what is going on here, I want to try to share my own life with you without exposing others. Their story is their own to tell. I can only tell you mine.

It is my desperate desire to present myself as real and not some perfect sample of a trouble-free life. It is FAR from trouble free around here and I have my share of down days and insecurities.
Next month my son Noah will finish with his pre-orthodontic device and start his Invisalign treatment. He gets his fancy scan done on our next appointment and will soon be wearing his Invisalign aligners.
