Tightropes & Teeter-Totters
I am super-dee-duper excited about the next few weeks! Why? Because I have a new book coming out! Woohoo!
It’s called, “Tightropes & Teeter-Totters: Finding Balance in the Ups and Downs of Life.”
This subject, struggling to find balance, is one I am closely familiar with. You might even say we were besties for years. I had this idea that there was some woman out there whose life was perfectly balanced. She went to bed at a decent hour, woke up refreshed after a night of uninterrupted sleep, had money in the bank and a husband who never rolled his eyes at her. Her figure was adorable (slightly on the small side), her car was clean and she never had a friend dump her because she wasn’t enough. Of course her children were beautifully behaved and knew how to read Latin.
And let’s not even mention what Pinterest has done to everyone’s house-confidence.
As I got older, hopefully wiser and definitely more experienced in dealing with all of these issues and a thousand more, God opened my eyes to what true balance really is. And in that I found such a place of peace and joy that I simply HAD to share it with other women.
What if you stopped feeling hopeless about ever having balance in your life?! Hmmm? Wouldn’t that be wonderful?! What if you knew deep down with no doubt that you are normal in your struggles? And what if you had some tools to help you pull yourself back up when you fell over?
We all fall, we all topple, we all get lost in the day to day challenges. I’m here to tell you that you’re not alone and there are ways to straighten out those messed up areas and get back in balance. And then you do it again, and again, and again. Life. Never. Gets. Perfect.
In my book I give a strategy for finding balance, but I also thread hope and friendship throughout. I want you to feel like we’re friends talking and sharing and laughing together. I want it to be fun and encouraging for you! The message of this book is a mindset shift and confidence booster.
And this time of year is PERFECT for the message of balance. Don’t we all get a little excited about making lifestyle changes around the first of January? Then by the 15th we start to wane and by February we are wondering what happened to that excitement.
Pre-ordering is so simple and it really helps authors. Then, if you can, leave a review after you’ve read the book. This is also a real boost for anyone writing a book….be sure to do it for all the books you love!
Thanks so much for being a part of my circle of friends! Have a great week.
