Fun at Convention!

This week I am at the Young Living International Grand Convention.  I’ve got some of my kids with me and we are having a grand time!  I can’t wait to fill you in on all of the newest products and exciting happenings.  It’s like a lifestyle boost, information overload and reunion all rolled into one.

One of the things that I did to let my team members that came to convention know how glad I am that they are here was make them each a “Convention Survival Pack”.  I thought I’d share so you can get ideas if you’re ever working with a team of amazing people like I am!

My goal was to give them some things to make their week a little brighter and easier.  This event has 6,000 people in attendance so it’s not exactly leisurely.  Long lines are everywhere….at the food counters, the drink stations, every vendor….wowsa.

Instead of filling each bag before we left, I put everything in a box  and waited until we got into our hotel room.  Then I put them together.  I printed out their names and stapled them onto each bag before we left (otherwise my forgetful brain wouldn’t know who I had already given a bag to!).

I wrote notes of encouragement with a few helpful bits of information, rolled them up and slipped them into a tube that our oils come in when they’re shipped.  I thought that would be a fun way to get a note.  I tied a jute bow around each one.

Ziploc bags (they come in handy!)

A Chick-fil-A gift card (I wanted to buy them a meal)
My favorite travel helper (Levi calls it my “potion”)

The “potion” is just coconut oil and a few drops of frankincense that I mixed together and put in these tiny tubs.  I added a little card to show how I use it.

I hope they feel the love when they use the stuff I gave them!  I adore these people!!!
