Well, I finally turned in my first draft of my book. It’s been one of those, “Be careful what you wish for” kinds of things. It was rough!
I can’t believe how quickly October is flying past. While it will be remembered as one of the worst times in my life, it is also God’s mercy that I look back and realize that weeks have slipped by without my realizing.
Since sharing about our daughter leaving home I have been overwhelmed with phone calls, emails and messages of love and support. Thank you. Believe it or not, I did not expect that response at all.
In sharing what is going on here, I want to try to share my own life with you without exposing others. Their story is their own to tell. I can only tell you mine.

It is my desperate desire to present myself as real and not some perfect sample of a trouble-free life. It is FAR from trouble free around here and I have my share of down days and insecurities.
Next month my son Noah will finish with his pre-orthodontic device and start his Invisalign treatment. He gets his fancy scan done on our next appointment and will soon be wearing his Invisalign aligners.
Being technically challenged, getting my new phone to act exactly like my old phone only better is not easy. But I do have the advantage of having several teens who think it’s SO fun to teach their old mom new things
