Remember my new shutters for my bedroom? Well I also added some in my kitchen and oh my goodness I love them so much!

After a long, cold weekend Monday is a beautiful thing. I like normalcy….if you can call 11 people in one house all day normal.
I’m joining together with some of my favorite gals to give someone $500 for Christmas. That sure would make a dent in my holiday shopping expenses.
Some of the kids and I did a little local Black Friday shopping and I finally got some clothes that fit me. I am so shocked that I actually fit into clothes in the regular sections now.
People ask me all the time, “What’s your secret? How did you do it?!” I disappoint them every time when I tell them it’s just good old-fashioned diet and exercise. No tricks, no surgery, no magic pill. Bummer, right?
This post contains affiliate links. There are so many things that I love and would love to get for Christmas if I didn’t already have them! So I thought I’d share this list with you. Maybe it will help you do some of your shopping or be a great thing for your husband to read…
Being a true American, I overate on Thanksgiving. I made some eating decisions before the big day arrived so I wouldn’t lose sight of the fact that I am on a diet and regret my choices.
I only have 2 pictures for you today because, frankly, I’m sleepy and want to go to bed. Thanksgiving wore me out and I can’t think of nothing but lying my head on my pillow and dreaming of a clean kitchen. And pie.
We are rounding the corner to Christmas around here! The tree is up, but not decorated. The porch pumpkins have been replaced by poinsettias. And the Christmas story books have made their way to the coffee table.
I made a quick run to Dallas this past weekend. Sure it’s a 6 hour drive, but in Texas time that’s practically your next door neighbor. Just a simple country jaunt.
