San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival Family Pass

This coming weekend is the annual San Antonio Christian Film Festival.  Our family has attended every year since the beginning of time.  We wouldn’t miss it.  It’s one of the social highlights of our year!  Oh, and great films too.

A few years ago my kids entered their own films in the festival and that was quite an experience.  It’s much more relaxing to simply sit and watch the movies and not wonder about prizes and awards and your kids’ feelings.  This year it’s just good Christian films, good fellowship and good family time.  It’s a great way to spend a weekend!

One of my favorite things to do there is people watch.  I love to see the families all together and the little ones being carried by their siblings and the teens and young adults hanging out talking about what’s happening in their life.  I’m telling you…it’s a real joy to be in the midst of God-loving people.  I just like to watch people interact.

But be warned….I won’t hesitate to walk up to you and just start talking.  I don’t care how many babies you’re carrying or how late you are for the next movie.  I will tackle you my friend.  I can’t help it.  I like you.

And the films really are amazing.  We go home inspired to live more for Christ and it always leads to some fabulous family discussions.  I’ll let you know which films we liked the best, but here’s a whole list of the semi-finalists.  They look wonderful.
