God’s Promises for Girls and Boys!

I have another sweet little set of book to give away today!  These are the most adorable, encouraging things.  God’s Promises for Boys and God’s Promises for Girls.  I started to read it to Levi and became so wrapped up in the little lessons that I wanted to just keep reading for myself.

I sat down on the couch and pulled Levi up next to me.  “Come read with me,” I said as I squished him close.  I thought he’d just be interested in flipping through the pictures, but when I started to read about what happens when you don’t know what to do…he really got into it.

For days after that he kept telling me,  “Mommy!  I wasn’t sure what to do when ______ so I prayed.”  How sweet is that?!  We read several other pages together and now the older brothers have started listening when we read.  We’ve been keeping the boys’ book on the coffee table so we can just pick it up anytime and look through it.

What I really like about these books is that it is mostly just Bible verses.  You can’t beat that for some real encouragement.

Now you can win BOTH of these sweet books for yourself.  The boy and the girl version.  They really are delightful.  It’s easy to enter and if you don’t win I hope you’ll pick up these sweet books for yourself!  God’s Promises for Boys and God’s Promises for Girls are small, but packed with Bible lessons for your little ones.

  1. The books sound lovely – I often wonder how on earth I could ever parent without God – what do you tell a child who is scared if you can’t tell them that God is with them and has sent His Comforter to be with them always!
Would love to share the promises with my 5 little boys.

  2. We do Bible lessons daily and memorizing scripture is part of that. We also want our kids to see how the scriptures are relevant in their lives: when they are scared, lonely, happy etc. It looks like the books would help remind them of God’s promises. Thanks for the opportunity!

  4. We read a devotional every day, and look up the scripture verse it refers to, write it on the chalkboard wall in the kitchen, and try to make reference to it all day. Sometimes we forget, other days we do ok. My kiddos would love these books!
