Our front porch is so long and narrow that it is sometimes hard to decorate. I can’t just stick a wreath on the door and call it finished. Or maybe I should stop blaming my huge porch and start looking at the real problem….James doesn’t let me buy everything I want.

I’m so delighted with myself this week. I finally got some pumpkins for my front porch; my life is complete.

It’s been a quiet week here at the Point. People call and say, “How are you? What are the kids up to?” Umm….nothing.
I could tell them how Jacob fixed the garage door or that Faith had to find a leak in the pool, but that seems awkward.
I loved taking pictures while our friends were here! We wandered around the yard snapping and posing…..
The weekend was a whirlwind of activity. It started Friday with a big double date. James and I met some friends in the big city and went to see “Courageous.” It was one of the best movies I have seen in a long, long time. I hope you all will head out and see this…
