Pinterest Friday Numero Uno
I’m so crazy over Pinterest and I find so many things there that make me smile that I want to share them ALL with you! I’m going to try to remember to post my favorite pins from the week each Friday, although I’m not going to commit to every Friday because I will likely forget. Besides, as Dave Ramsey would say, I’m a free-spirit.
These are a few of my favorites of the week. We’ll star with the food because, let’s face it, it’s the most important.
First I wanna eat these meatloaf cupcakes
and then move on to the Ultimate Chocolate Layer Cake
You can expect to find something chocolate on every Pinterest Friday because it is my firm belief that life is empty without chocolate.
I’m anxious to try this tutorial for a t-shirt skirt
I’ve been getting out the fall decor and I’ve got to make a couple of these book pumpkins.
This last one really got to me. My daughters AND my sons need to hear this:
If you need an invite to Pinterest let me know and I’ll send you one!
Happy weekend!
I LOVE Pinterest Friday!!! Oh, Lisa! I SAW that meatloaf cupcake and just showed my hubby – he said the same thing as me “Adam would LOVE those!!” He’s a meatloaf fanatic – only to be topped by mashed potatoes! And, do you still want to be my friend even though I can’t eat chocolate? It’s sad, I know….I can’t have dairy and 95% of chocolate has some kind of dairy in it. I eat a tiny bit of dark chocolate each day, though…cause life without chocolate is very sad 🙁 Happy Pinterest Day! {Should I send you a reminder to do it each week? Ha, ha!}

I have heard so much about pinterest! I would love an invite! Very cute skirt! I just have to try the pumpkin!
Thanks for sharing!

P.S. I LOVE dark chocolate!!!! Especially ghiradelli or lintdor dark chocolate truffles! (did I spell that right?) LOL! Indeed, life without chocolate would be sad!!
Becky, that’s the BEST kind of friend because then I get all of the chocolate for myself!
Kristiana, I sent you an invite. I hope you love it!
Lisa~
I love pinterest as well, it is so totally addictive, I love just going and browsing, so I am trying to limit my time on there to weekends or otherwise nothing would ever get done here!
No idea if I want an invite to pinterest or not….do I need one? Is it worth it?? How does it work??? Clue me in, please.
the book pumpkins are adorable and remind me of the magazine Santas we had growing up. Did you have those? See those? Same concept, only it made the bottom of a Santa Claus. Cute! The pumpkins are cuter, and I’m decluttering books and do NOT want to throw them away (which just seems……wrong!) yet donating english books in a portuguese nation is also not so helpful. So, how many pumpkins can I fit in my house??? LOL!
Tshirt skirt looks great!! Will have to find some tshirts I can use….I have been wanting a good casual skirt that won’t make my boys (the grown-up one included) scream “Ack! why are you dressing up?? Do we have to dress up????” A t-shirt skirt might do it…..
Chocolate….yum. ‘Nuff said. The meatloaf cupcakes though simply do not have nearly enough mashed potatoes on them. Could be a cute way to serve for a party, so long as I had more mashed taters in a pot as back-up…..I would also top with cheddar cheese “sprinkles” on top. YUM. Man, I really need to buy a muffin pan…..maybe if Pinterest is going to wind up costing me money (in that I’ll have to buy the things I need to do the things I find there) I do not want an invite after all………what a dilemma.
I MUST MAKE A BOOK PUMPKIN! SO cool!
Also, I read that apple story on a Churchmate’s FB and loved it. I need to print it and stick it in my journal for another season (when my children aren’t in preschool!) 😉 Checking out that Tshirt Skirt Tut. right now!!
OK, what is this pinterest thing? I feel so out of touch. I work too much. Waaaahhh—I just wanna come home…oh sorry I just fell right into a pity party. So, back to the Pinterest thing. What is it? Have you seen make it – love it (www.makeit-loveit.com)?
I LOVED the tree shaped “poem” about the best girls are at the top of the tree. Of course, when I read it to my 17 year old son, he mimed playing a violin. Of course, he’s the one when I ask him about girls, he says “What’s the point, Mom? I’m 17. I can’t do anything with it right now” Smart boy 🙂 Can one get a copy of that poem? Help me Obi Wan, you’re my only hope…
I would love an invite!! I love looking at everyones great ideas!!
Thanks!!
