My Hallway Got Even Better!
Remember last week when I gave myself the award for the World’s Cleanest Hallway? Well, if that wasn’t amazing enough I have made the hallway even better.
My fresh, white hallway is so wonderful and crisp and clean.
What I didn’t realize was that all of the smudge marks and fingerprints gave it color and personality. Now that the walls weren’t dingy taupe-ish, the white picture frames were getting lost.
Well that’s an easy fix! Just take them all down and spray paint them with paint leftover from my anniversary party.
15 minutes later….we have character.
Don’t talk yourself out of doing something bold. If you don’t like it, just paint it white again!
Would it be weird if I skipped down the hallway instead of just walking? I can’t help it….it’s so cheery.
Dear Lou,
(Skip to m’ Lou) My darlin’! I’m lovin’ me some BLUE, girl! Yep. The white was lost. Didn’t even notice until you painted ’em blue. Now all the lovelies really stand out. Good job, Lou!

I love to use color!
The blue is wonderful in your hallway!
It looks really good!

It’s lovely! And you should definitely skip through the hallway. Every single time.
It’s looks lovely Dah-ling! LOL! I’m a color girl. I love splashes of color everywhere. I would TOTALLY skip down that hallway girlfriend. Just make sure you video tape it and post it. Ha! Ha!
dear Hall’s well that ends well’,
I can NOT believe I have not visited you for ages, and then you do with your hall just what I have been planning to do with mine! I would like to think “great minds think alike”….but then I KNOW you have loads more talent and ideas in your little finger than I have in me. My hall is ‘taup-ish’ or should I just say -‘Ish’? I am planning to paint it white and hang framed photos.
love,

I love the selection of pictures along that wall. I love it with the dash of blue (that colour is soooo me!), but I liked it even before the improvement too 🙂
I really like the frames!! They look really pretty and add a good POP!
Blessings!

I love your doors! I know it’s weird that I notice, but I have an old home and notice “vintagey” stuff like that. They look great! And, how did you get it to dry in 15 minutes?

Becky, here in the hottest part of the US it is so hot that paint was almost dry before it hit the frame. 🙂 Lisa~
Great job, the beauty of painting something is that its so easy to change!
Skip away, dear Lisa, skip away! 🙂
Skip on my clever friend!
I just fell head over heels in love with your blog, and I’m definitely a new follower! I love your About page and what you and your family stand for! What a breath of fresh air. Your painted frames are very cute and add a nice flare to the World’s Cleanest Hallway!
