My Trip, Day 2
I drove for about 5 hours today and I really glad I am finished sitting in the van for a while. This has been my view for the past 2 days:
My behiney is sore and my ankles are swollen. That’s the reality of it and I thought you’d want to know since this is the age of reality TV.
I’ve spent the evening at Gina’s. I’ve seen the two rooms we are making over and there’s a lot to do, but it will be easy for these amazing ladies.
Tonight we sat and planned what we want to get done tomorrow. Two of the ladies aren’t here yet, but they’ll be along shortly. It was Gina, who is one of the most genuine people I have ever known. She is loving and kind and confident….I love that about her. Cha Cha is so sweet and funny. This is our second time this year to get together and I am looking forward to hearing all about what she’s been up to. Then there’s Leslie. She and I have been blog friends for a while now and I adore her. She is peppy and kind and generous. I can not wait to see these women in action!
Being a low energy person myself, they may run circles around me. But remember who won the race in the story of “The Tortoise and the Hare”? I have the whole hare thing in the bag.
I’m getting my flip cam out tomorrow so you can see how slow I move.
Lisa, I am anxious to see how you ladies transform these two rooms. I know they will be fabulous. Have fun!

Oh how exciting! I know you ladies will do a marvelous job and have a wonderful while doing as well! Enjoy the fellowship!
I just looked at the posting time and was shocked! If only it was truly 10:10 p.m. but is is just after midnight and I have four 7th and 8th grade boys who are being a bit chatty! I think it is time to tell them to go to sleep… or at least lower it another decibel or two. And to think there are those who think girls are the chatty ones and boys are so quiet… apparently they’ve never been to my house before. ha ha!
‘night! Can’t wait to see what you ladies have up your sleeves! 🙂
Your going to have so much fun and therefore so will we experiencing it all with you!

I sympathize with you!! I can barely walk when I finish driving a long trip…but you are there…
I could bore you with the results of my push to redo my daughter’s room and the resulting exhaustion (as I am a low energy person too) but I won’t. 🙂
Have fun!!
I just love you.
