One Project Closer

Hey!  Did you know that you can get discounts at Home Depot, Lowes and Sears?

Turns out that if you really look for them online you can find them.

But wait!  We don’t have to look because one of my new fav blogs will do the looking for us!

Fred, over at One Project Closer, keeps updates of the latest discounts and how to get them.  It is fantastic!  Why did I not discover this BEFORE we built the deck?

Every Thursday they post updates of the latest deals AND some exclusive deals not available in store….like last week.  Home Depot had an additional 5% off between midnight and 4:00 AM.  I don’t know about you, but I can manage to haul myself out of bed to save 5% on a power tool!

And while we’re on the subject of One Project Closer, their summer contest is coming to a close.  It’s a good thing too since I already have pumpkins all around the house.  Remember back in early August when I won their weekly contest for Noah’s Room?  Well, in a week or so they will open it up for you to vote on your favorite weekly winner of the summer.  Now, you all know that I am usually very shy and soft spoken, right?  Well just this once I am going to go against my natural urge to be humble.  I want your votes.  We’re all going to have to pull together here people.  Some of these weekly winners have great looking projects and much bigger blogs.  So you’re going to have to get your voting finger ready.  Just think of it as preparation for the elections in November.
