Eating Out with Kids
There will be times when your children need to sit somewhere without you and you need to trust them to act the same way they would act if you were right there with them.

The last of the guests have headed home, the decorations are all put away, the boy is graduated.
It was a blessing to have so many people come out for our graduation/movie screening.
Before I head off to get dressed for tonight’s graduation, I have to show you one thing we did….. Thanks Bakerella for this adorable idea! Linking to Creative High @ Those Northern Skies
I wandered into an antique mall to see if I could find something vintage and fabulous to use on the food table for our graduation ceremony this weekend.
I did find something fabulous, but it has nothing to do with the graduation. I bought it anyway.
This week will be spent prepping for Jacob’s graduation ceremony.
With so many people coming for a visit, there are meals to plan and shop for. The guest house needs a good scrubbing and I need to lose 25 pounds.
I can’t wait to show you all the changes in my living room. It is really looking spiffy! (Did I just say spiffy?)
…Alarmed, we checked the gas stove — sure enough, one of the burners was on, but the spark had not been lit. It had been on since we cooked the taco meat for dinner, three hours before.
I am shy about writing a” how to” post since the paint is barely dry and I haven’t lived with it long enough to know if it’ll stick. I’ve had a lot of questions about how I painted my piano, so I’m going to tell you.
After a year of mulling it over, I finally did it.
I painted the piano.
It wasn’t easy, fast or fun. But I am so, SO thrilled with the results.
