New Scarf Idea

Wow! Is it Monday? My mental calendar is all messed up! It will be weeks before I know what day it is without looking at a calender 20 times throughout the day.

I keep asking the kids, “What’s today?”

“It’s Monday, Mom. Still Monday from when you asked me 10 minutes ago.”

Sorry. But my brain is telling me it’s Saturday and it won’t stop.

Hey! I should make some scarfs, like I sell in my Etsy shop. Remember the underwear we had when we were kids? With the days of the week on them? I could have days of the week scarfs!

I could master the art of glancing down ever so subtly at my scarf to see what day it is. I might look weird, but that ship has sailed anyway. In this small town I’m pretty sure there isn’t anyone left that doesn’t think I’m at least a little strange.

So that’s it….I’m going to make myself some days of the week scarfs.

Hmm….while I’m at it I’d better put the date on them. 2010 is pretty hard to remember. And as long as my mind is slipping….I could make some for my kids to wear. I do often hear myself saying, “What’s your name again?”

I knew this monogram thing would come in handy someday. Stay tuned….I’m going to label everything!
