There will be times when your children need to sit somewhere without you and you need to trust them to act the same way they would act if you were right there with them.

Yesterday I popped into the courthouse to get my license plate renewal. I had my 5 youngest kids with me. As we entered the room I gestured toward a long bench and said, “You guys sit there while I take care of this.”
So my kids sat on the bench and waited.
Getting 10 people ready to go anywhere has always been a challenge for me.
We start with a “morning meeting”. I write everything on the school white board and we make a plan.
I sat on the living room floor putting the new bed frame together.
“I’ll help you Mommy!” says a little voice.
